The origin of Vegas Technology is Odds On Gaming Inc, a company that specialized in the budding online banking market in the 1990′s. In 2003, Odds On merged with the online gambling company EH New Ventures and two years later the name was changed from Odds On to Vegas Technology. Since then, Vegas Technology has developed into a major player on the online casino market.

In addition to casino games, Vegas Technology offer services such as transaction processing, marketing, promotional campaigns, tournaments, and 24/7 customer support. They have developed Virtual Exchange, a solution for casino operators that wish to offer their customers faster payouts and fee-free transactions.

Vegas Technology holds a gambling license from Antigua and Barbuda and is a member of the Interactive Gaming Council. The fairness of the software has been certified by Certified Fair Gambling and Jacobson Gaming which analyze all software logs of playing results on a monthly basis.

Note: In the wake of poker’s Black Friday in April 2011 when United States authorities seized several poker domains that permitted players from the United States, all online casinos using Vegas Technology stopped accepting U.S. players, and after a while they shut down completely. This included well-known casinos such as VIP Slots Casino, Millionaire Casino and English Harbour Casino. It now (2012) appears as if Vegas Technology has been rebranded as Wager Gaming Technology (WGS Technology). The company has supposedly been sold and renamed, but the details remain unclear. New casinos have opened using WGS software, looking very similar to the old suit of Casino Coins casinos from Vegas Technology. They do not accept U.S. players. The information in the article below pertains to the old Vegas Technology Casino Network, and although Wager Gaming Technology seems to have large similarities with Vegas there might be discrepancies between the two.
